This frame is not an open source and we can not make changes to the design. We provide the manufacturing to order and provide as a kit. Included are the carbon fiber parts and assembling hardware. 3D printed parts are not provided.
Most production times are about 3 - 5 days, but can be affected by work load at the time of the order. Any questions or concerns, please message us at
[email protected]
For any 3d printing needed please check out https://www.brain3d.co/ and they can help with having anything you need printed.

Tubular Quad V7 by Timmy RC
In 2017 I was in search of a light, responsive, 6 inch freestyle frame. Nothing on the market could achieve this criteria, hence the Tubular Quad was born. This seventh iteration is the closest yet to my vision of the perfect freestyle frame: Telepathic responsiveness combined with the effortless feel of 6inch twin-blade props.
Uncompromising performance comes at a cost: You will need more than a screwdriver to build this frame. Extra steps that are required:
Bond arm doublers inside of tubular arms
Bond motor mounts on top of tubular arms
Reinforce motor mounts with carbon tow and wet with laminating resin
The kit includes the machined carbon parts and metal hardware. You will have to provide your own adhesives and carbon tow.

Don't want to deal with the extra build steps? Check out the Non-Tubular Quad, which has the same geometry, but without the benefits of tubular arms:

Frame Specs:
True-X geometry for symmetrical handling
2 different standoff configurations to accommodate different electronics configurations
7 standoffs with central 20x20 mounting pattern (recommended for analog)
6 standoffs with forward 20x20 & rearward 25.5x25.5 mounting patterns
(recommended for digital)
Short fuselage for improved pitch and yaw response
"Toilet tank" battery mount for improved pitch response
Tubular Arms!
Lower drag than flat carbon arms
Lighter than flat carbon arms, which improves response
Stiffer than flat carbon arms, which improves vibrational characteristics and make
tuning easier
Sleek motor wire protection
102g including all hardware
Supports up to 6in props
20mm standoffs
16x16mm motor mounts
Build Recommendations:
To get the full Tubular Quad experience, sub-600g AUW is strongly recommended. Choose your parts wisely; every gram matters.
Motors: 2206, 2305, or similar. Ideally under 30g per motor. 1900-2100KV for 4S.
Motor wires: Most motors need their wires extended to route through the tubular arms. 20AWG wire or smaller must be used so that the wires can sneak around the arm screws.
Battery: 1300mAh 4S or lighter. 1000mAh 5S or 850mAh 6S is also acceptable, but it is difficult to find motors with low enough KV for 5S or 6S.
Props: Your favorite 6 inch twin-blade. If you don't have a favorite yet, the Ethix K2 is a good all- rounder.
FC & ESC: Your favorite 20x20 stack. Make sure it supports M3 mounting hardware. Most stacks do, but some are M2-only.
Antenna mounts: Avoid heavy 3D printed mounts. Zip ties are light.
Carbon fiber parts included:
4x 160mm x 12mm CF Tubes
4x 30mm x 10mm CF Tubes
1x 2.0mm Main Plate
1x 2.0mm Top Plate
4x 2.0mm Motor Mounts
1x 2.0mm X Plate
Hardware:
7x M3 20mm Standoffs
8x M3 6mm BH Screws
14x M3 8mm BH Screws
6x M3 18mm BH Screws
2x M3 20mm BH Screws
4x M3 35mm BH Screws
10x M3 Pressnuts
