We have partnered with Quad 66 (Mike Puchowicz) to provide the manufacturing and shipping of his design. With the purchase of this frame, we provide all CF. Normal cutting time is about 3 - 5 days from the time of order but can be affected when there is a high cutting volume in the shop.
The SkyRyder 98 is a robust lightweight frame intended for 1002 and 1102 builds with Gemfan 2015 bi-blade props. The frame has a larger "wheelbase" than most 2 inch frames. This feature gives the small
motors more leverage to keep the quad tracking better. It also keeps the props in cleaner air with no thrust-robbing obstruction below. The longer arms do require enough width and thickness to keep vibrations and noise in check.
If you are unsure on the thickness go with 2 mm. For very clean builds 1.5 mm can save a little weight but the tune may suffer if you have too much vibration.
Frame: 98 mm MTM, 2 mm thick (or 1.5 mm)
FC: 25.5 x 25.5 AIO whoop orientation
Motor Mounting: 1.4 mm on 6.6 mm diameter
Props: 2 inch
Canopy: whoop
Weight (approximate): 3.7 gm(2 mm)
Build Notes:
Stock motor screws are borderline on the 2 mm thickness. Some motors do ok such as the RCinpower
1002 and NewBeeDrone 1102. Other motors like the HGLRC Aeolus 1102 will not grab enough thread
and will partially strip out. If in doubt on the 2 mm, bump up to 4 mm long M1.4 screws.

Note: We are not the designer and are not responsible if the frame is not as you hoped. We only cut the files provided and it's your responsibility you do your research about the frame before purchasing. Frames are all custom cut and are started once an order is placed. [email protected], and someone will get back to yo as soon as possible. It is also suggested to check the Facebook groups or contact the designer if you have any other questions.
